It is an act of bravery to forget death,
Anyway it’s just politic jargon,
April is a levee and must break,
Have the wool sheared from our heads,
And if turmoil smarts let it rain,
And don’t forget the snow,
An act of bravery is to forget death,
The insults and politic jargon,
In April your feet are never dry,
But your wings are glad for it,
The scarecrow on your lips kisses the sky
And breathes
