tricky syntax in the second stanza, Bob, but I stood on my head and had another read: yes, it made sense: that comets are NOT capable of love is shortsighted; love the cutting surrealism here —
I thought of transformation… how poems and stories show us how things and characters can shift, change, grow. I loved your phrase “words into dream.” But then, being a writer, of course I would love that 🙂
I just smoked a bowl so I don’t know what I’m thinking, but this is what comes to mind. I’m just thinking now that the word Philosophy sounds good off the tongue and it’s great that in the word is “los” as in loss as in “phi” which translates as fie or fire so if i put 2 and 2 together it equals people lost in a fire, lost in some love like both their brains have been hijacked and so yes, I would argue that comets are in fact capable of love like those butterflies or wolf who meet each other for a short moment and then go on their way.

Haha! I love the dots you’ve connected there. Loss and love and fire and butterflies and wolves and all like comets, all capable of love. Wonderful!!
