Along the roads
Even in ditches the goldenrod triumphs.
At night dragonflies
Carry dream cargo.
Without pen and paper
Throughout these lost cities
The grasshopper sings with its legs.
Any day now, they’ll announce
There is other life in the galaxy.

naïve haircuts 
You must get tired of hearing this, but this one is amazing Bob. I immediately went to you tube to see if I could find a clip from that old sitcom “Good Times” starring Jimmy Walker as J.J. and him singing “DYNOMITE!” because that’s what I felt after reading this. I’m drunk with hope and in love with the future after reading this….”At night dragonflies Carry dream cargo” and then “grasshopper sings with its legs” and “any day now they’ll announce there is other life in the galaxy.” And now I’m just rewriting your poem. It’s that good. Splendid!!!!!!
