  1. Oh mangos, I love the idea of “roads and all the indecipherable street signs Bearing the logos of our dreams.” Talk about inspiration !! To walk around town, to climb a hill or a tree, to stop off for a beer at a local dive bar, all scraps for that night’s dreams. I keep having a recurrent dream with an obvious message. I’m in a strange place, but my home is not far away, but I never seem to be able to get there like last night I was waking on a dirt road to get back home, to a new house I had rented with a bunch of friends, but the road dead ended when it reached a large body of water. And if I can connect this dream to the last two lines of this poem, then who cares if I can’t find my way home because there’s always the night sky. It musta done wonders for desert dwellers to find their way, those stars and what not. And the title….I can’t not include a link to this song, one of the mellower King Crimson tunes, but one I return to every once in a while, a real beautiful song I can see listening to, sitting by a river after a long trip or high or whatever.

    1. I have to admit, I’m not that familiar with King Crimson. But that song’s going to change that. What a fantastic song. Thanks for sharing that. What a wild dream. It’s kinda beautiful and unsettling at the same time. Yes, I guess we are all falling, or will fall. But that night sky is there. I’m looking forward to diving into and discovering King Crimson. And thank you for the wonderful comment.

      1. I’d recommend a few songs/albums but would rather you discover them if you choose to and if Cadence and Cascade becomes your launch song, enjoy the ride! and we can talk about Crimson later.
