It is all waves. On the largest scales.
And the smallest scales. I am on a ladder
In a dream, sans shoes. The stars bristle over
The sea.
The traffic light blots the intersection
In turn red, in green. It’s raining. I’m out for a walk. It’s all
Chance and honesty. In the end.
And inherent to the universe is complexity, is life.
And all that is breaking. Breaking down. And breaking open.
“The stars bristle over the sea…”
Great line, my friend.

I love the opening, brilliant about waves….links me to sound waves and frequencies and that tremendous feeling of being involved in he same project as someone else. Musically, I’ve had it happen once. I’m not a musician but I was at a friend’s house who is a musician and he had all the instruments and this girl Kati started playing the guitar and I sat at the drums and played and we eventually reached some form of communication. I don’t know where I’ going with this, but as always, I’m blow away by your work and this poem has speed to it like a runaway train.

I really like that, communicating musically, which are waves. Thanks, that adds to this poem for me. Which makes me think of the David Bowie song, Sound and Vision. Which are both waves. Thanks!

You know, I’ve never had a massive Bowie phase in my music listening , but there are so many tunes of his that I like, beginning iwth that entire album Scary Monsters. Right now I’m obsessed by Jesse Welles and the songs he’s posted on you tube, but Bowie is next. I’m ready to do some exploring and am gonna start with Sound and Vision.
