The theory of an image
Is imaginary.
The butterfly of an image
Loots the universe.
The box set of an image
Available while supplies last.
The printout of an image
Is the shoreline of a shadow.
The road of an image
Are never ceasing sole-thoughts.
And the guesswork of an image
Are images too.
I like the way this kicks off, a reminder that what we see on line is suspicious or as you say, just a theory. It’s like you were saying the other day, about dogs seeing with their nose which makes me think that the more internet images trick us, the further we will be from reality and then of course, dogs will take over the world.

I’m looking forward to a dog run world. I wonder what that would be like? Images are funny, I guess they could go either way. But I try to stay away from the internet. Like you said, they are intended to trick us.

Yeh, at this point it seems best to trust our eyes and instincts like pre-internet days.

This reminds me of Star Wars. Luke, you’ve turned off your targeting computer. Maybe we should turn off our targeting computers.

Thanks John. Glad you liked it. A bit more into the surreal again for this one.

I like verse 4! Your piece is kind of in line with my thoughts about the world being “genuine fake” ~ a term I’ve never forgotten after seeing it at a stall in a Turkish market (“FOR SALE: Genuine Fake Watches”) in 2009. It feels prescient now. Did I already tell you that?

No. But I think it’s intriguing. We create the world in our heads. I’m not saying it’s inaccurate. But it’s images we make. Would that make them genuine fake? I’m I interpreter that right? And the the sale of genuine fake watches is really, really funny.
