My city travels by picket fence
And rain puddle,
In the branches of trees miles
Away,
Or catastrophically part of the sun’s eyebrows.
Even so, you ask, what is the fashion sense
Of these other dimensional citizens?

in the branches of trees miles….a beautiful way to travel and the fashion sense. Fashion is kind of underrated form of expression. I personally don’t buy clothes. i wear my kid’s old clothes, but god i’m grateful to many african countries and india and banagladesh and their wonderful attire and urban hip hop is great fashion too.

I’m not a fashion person either. But I agree, a lot of colorful clothes in the world. A lot more interesting then brand logos on tee shirts.

I do get a kick out of the fashion of wearing old atari t-shirts and things like that. I’m amazed that the shirts last so long.

I still have my old Atari. One of the things my mom kept in her basement. And it still works. Maybe come Combat later tonight.

I never had atari…instead we had that other one called Intelevision, but there was a great combat game called Armor Battle. My brother and i put a few holes in the ceiling with chairs over those games.

It’s amazing how advanced games are these days. I wonder if arcades still exist?

I wish there was an old school arcade around here.

Thanks! I like the idea of an imaginary city. I think I could expand on this one at some point.

“Catastrophically part of the sun’s eyebrows” brought a smile to my face this morning, as did “these other dimensional citizens”. Great work, Bob! Always a pleasure to read your poetry.
