The afternoon smells like a waltz. With hints of a
Mosh pit.
Tuesdays are for études. And classic rock
Tee shirts.
Let’s meet at the bodega and buy cans of beer and a bag of peanuts.
Feed the crows and make a day of it at the park.
Your eyebrows are infinite. Don’t laugh. I’m serious.
I want to open a gas station for UFOs.
Check the oil. Wash the windows. Full service or bust.

this is so much fun….ROMANCE. IS NOT DEAD!!!!! The possibility of a UFO swooping us off our feet and meeting at a bodega has inspired me to take a walk today and smile at strangers. I love the marilyn manson mix of the day – waltz and mosh pit…..etudes and classic rock t-shirts. Once again, thank you for taking the english language to new levels by combining things for maybe the first time ever.

Thanks…I had fun writing this one. Feels like a day from my 20’s…just sitting at the park feeding the crows sipping beer. Good times. Enjoy the walk!!

I’m back from the walk. Thanks. It was scraps for dreams in a few things i saw – a few logs in the shape of grotesque monsters, but most of the time i was in my head thinking. i don’t remember what but probably tons of stupid anxiety. anyway, we have some folk here who always drop bird seed and bread crumbs for the pigeons. Feeding crows i see way less frequently. i love crows but they scare me….their beaks and their caw caw cawing but fear sometimes is admiration and it is when it comes to me and crows.

My walks are like that too…all the thoughts but when it’s over, I can’t remember too much of what was in my head. I do like crows. I’m thinking of adding a second bird feeder to the yard (with peanuts!) just to attract crows.

too bad we don’t have stenographers, just chilling on a park bench in our minds typing away our thoughts.

That would be an interesting invention. I wonder how that would read if could just transcribe out stream of consciousness?

thoughts of demons, thoughts of angels….i bet it would be a mixed bag of ups and downs or depends on what substances we were under and depressions and anxieties….but changing topic…..i heard today from a friend that she’s way into her AI relationship and i thought she was kidding, but she’s dead serious and so i looked it up and a shocking percentage of people are doing this HER thing like the movie with juaquin phoenix and scarlett johanson’s voice and all i can do is listen to that DOORS tune STRANGE DAYS and drink beer and get high because i have absolutely no interest in an AI relationship though i am part of this time so maybe i could try and see if i get addicted, a self imposed guinea pig situation….side note. they eat guinea pigs in peru and have tons of different kinds of potatoes.

“and have tons of different kinds of potatoes.” just made me bust out laughing. And I’m at work. Thankfully no one saw me. I have no intention of interacting with AI. But would someone like me, who has difficulty opening up to other people, benefit from that? I think it would be too tempting. Or maybe a complete failure. I listened to Strange Days the other day…definitely still hits home.

yeh, it’s true…all these different kinds of potatoes. i was talking about it with my girlfriend’s kid’s girlfriend and she immediately said YUKON GOLD and i was like WHAT? Yukon? no, but seriously, those peru mountain people live off guinea pigs and potatoes. i love these uninterrupted societies, just sticking by the old ways. i figure technology is some suicide ingrained gene in those who planted the robot seed. “OH PLEASE TAKE OVER MY WILL. I CAN’T HANDLE THIS FREEDOM.” fuck that. one way to screw over AI the thief, hoarding our data……one way is to write letters and write stories with pen and paper. robots got nothing on that. we can even do like clockwork orange and invent a new language. MAHSHAGASTAPOORINTANKS which is a long way to say HAVE A GREAT NIGHT AND ENJOY THAT JOINT ATOP THE SNOOPY DOGHOUSE!

oh shit, i forgot to mention……how excellently bizarre that you were just listening to STRANGE DAYS and that you said it might be tempting…..i totally feel the same way because this AI mate would become a never ending muse and if you feel drawn to writing or painting or going to the gym or anything, then this AI alternative might be helpful and maybe help with overpopulation but then again, if people stop having babies i guess it’s a surrender, a saying that life is not worth it. kind of sad.sorry about that.

When the song came on, and the line, “people are strange, when you’re a stranger,” my ears perked up. I guess I shouldn’t bash AI too much, since I’ve never tried it. But at this point, I think it’s a pass.

yeh, me too. i prefer imperfection giving way to perfection and round and round all of us trying to get by, but i get the romance side of things. people like that kind of drug. i kinda lost interest in it so i guess i’m not a romantic.

I finally looked up what a bodega is. Love the ending of this. Isn’t it funny how the order “don’t laugh” is instantly a laughing matter.
