The pursuit
Of siren-red
Stars
Blue radios
Nowhere
Stationed
A heap of autumn
Comets
Over an orange
Reservoir
A superb distance
To lean into
A superposition
Of poetries
The pursuit
Of siren-red
Stars
Blue radios
Nowhere
Stationed
A heap of autumn
Comets
Over an orange
Reservoir
A superb distance
To lean into
A superposition
Of poetries
A list of wonders…

one image burns into my consciousness;: those blazing comets over an orange reservoir; still grappling with ‘a superposition of poetries’; a second coffee may do the trick 🙂

Haha! Thanks John. I really like that image too. Hopefully that second cup works.

Excellent! There’s so much motion to me in this one, a going for the gusto, “A superb distance To lean into.” It serves me as a reminder to get out there and find it and see it and enjoy it…. even more than a reminder – I already feel like I’m out the door, getting ahead of my worries and anxiety. I’ve never surfed but I love the image of a surfer getting above a wave or in this poem – The pursuit Of siren-red Stars.

Thanks Steve. I need to remind myself to get out there, get out doors, especially a day like today, that is bright and full of autumn color.
