I think if certainties and uncertainties had weight, my scales increasingly tip towards the latter.

I’m in the same boat. If asked 20 years ago what I thought I’d be doing now, I certainly wouldn’t have expected this.

Amazing what words can do. As I was reading this, it was like I could feel the hinges come off and for a moment, I felt like traveling again, ideally to Japan.

Haha. Who doesn’t like cheepnis. That’s great. I love those old sci-fi / monster movies too. As a kid I couldn’t get a enough of them. I don’t know if you’ve seen Godzilla Minus One. But it’s really, really good.

Godzilla Minus One. I just put it on my list. Thanks. I think I read somewhere that Godzilla was originally created as a representation of fear of nuclear bomb destruction. If that’s the case, I wonder if that fear was before the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

I love this. “Proclaims feet everywhere” is a perfect culmination to this poem. Uncertainty is often where we find unexpected rewards.
